I just got invited to the DeviantArt film, so I re-submitted this earlier deviation, but now in its proper Film & Animation category. Enjoy!
After messing around with Sketchup enough to get my modelling up to speed, I turned to the animation feature. It's limited, yes, but with a little creativity (and the help of nothing more then windows moviemaker) I got this animation short to work. it's an experiment before moving on to larger animation.

Wow! Wonderfully done. I wouldnt mind watching a feature lencth film with that level of animation, IF the script was good. Some sort of kickstartered sci-fi/science fantacy movie.
