Anti-grav Racing Scene by Ywander Anti-grav Racing Scene by Ywander
They say all good things are worth waiting for. Well, here’s where we find out. ;)

A little while back *cough cough a friggin’ year cough cough* :iconmarrekie: and myself got the idea into our heads to do a collab on our gravracers. I think the credits go to :iconmarrekie: actually. Anyway, a whole year of slavering, non-stop brainstorming, business meeting, sponsorship drives and endless hours of perfecting later (actually, that last one isn’t an exaggeration) and here’s the end result! Pretty proud of it too.

Welcome to the Arizona AG500, baby!

It's really a beautifull scene, the kind of scene i loved to watch for hours when i was kid. You manage to give it a lot of realism and some life, even with this typical Sketchup flat render. I will look at this software with more attention now. Good work ;) !

Thanks for the praise, man! It really is worth checking out. When linked with a proper render engine, it can result in the stuff of beauty, no kidding. That's why I'm practicing with Vray for Sketchup now.

I just discovered Sketchup a few months ago as well. After getting used to the program, I find it an invaluable tool for coming up with quick design sheets as well as setting up a scene properly. I haven't done anything with Vray yet, but I will look into that, too. ^^

Yes, it's really a very good software, i'm always amazed by it's apparent simplicity, I will try to work on a project with it, I'm far to have your skills with this tool.
