This month is all I have to produce a novel of no less then 50.000 words. After all the modeling of the past year, I really feel like putting my keyboard to good use and pound away to describe the stories that are continually running around in my head, often chasing each other around.
In my case it wont be a finished novel of 50.000 words, but a continuation of the Nullworld novel Im writing. I used this for my first participation of NaNoWriMo in 2006 and 2007 as well (couldnt do it in 2008, because I was knee-deep in debris that used to be my kitchen) so I have roughly 100.000 words on paper already.
When youre typing like mad to make the 1.667 words a day quota, you dont spend too much time on quality control, so its my intention to use everything written so far as a draft that will need a complete re-write sooner or later. Ive revised important parts of the storyline in my head on numerous occasions. Thats planned for next year, when Ive moved into my new house with the awesome office / game room / home cinema in the attic. Ooooh, Im gonna spend some sweet hours there!
But for now its loads of coffee and typing like theres no tomorrow every evening And Im already 1400 words behind! :'(

By the way, Star Pirates is having a contest to see who can build the best Lego versions of stuff from within the game, including your ships! You should check it out.
