Gooooood morning everybody!

Well yesterday was the day that :iconmarrekie: and meself finally were able to post our designs of the friendly contest we were having. The due date was actually the 31st of January, but I was unable to finish my work ([link]) any earlier then last night.

I don't want to complain about my lack of modelling time, because it's such a beautiful day outside and I knew this was gonna happen anyway. Besides, it doens;t matter because even if :iconmarrekie: hadn't won on such a technicality, I think it's obvious his design is the better ([link]). I've always been jealous of his 'do not mess with this machine' style and talent for graphic design, not to mention his gift for lighting and presentation. I take my hat off to you, good sir!

Anyhoo, I'm going to take the SU'ing back a notch and focus on my writing. Don't worry though, I'm sure a new model will pop up every now and then.

The good news is that the free and the pro version are as good as identical. The pro version just let's you use it for commercial activities (i.e. makign money). You can make everything just fine with the free version. Thanks for the comment!

Now I've learned even more about Sketchup. :-) Thanks again. I use sketchup every now and again to assist me with my comic book pages. I don't have time to really master it the way I would like so tutorials like yours really help a lot. It's all about the planning with sketchup, which I need to be a lot better at, hahaha.
